Book/CD Review By Courtney from www.oneboredmommy.com , We are trying the best we can to instill in our children the fact that, even in this tough day and age, they are SOMEBODY in this world to my husband and me. Despite their size, their age, their color, their circumstances, etc. they are important to us and to GOD and we will always love them exactly how they are. THEY MATTER to us, NO MATTER WHAT! Meet Thumbuddy. Yes...he's a special little guy, because he = you, your child, anybody for that matter. As you read along in the stories about him/her, you can replace Thumbuddy with that person and it really does make a child feel good (even an adult for that matter). Thumbuddy is special, regardless of his circumstances because he is a miracle, a gift given to his mommy and daddy and this world to treasure & love.

We (the kids and I) got the pleasure of reviewing two of their fantastic books and one of their CD's. I adore the books. ABSOLUTELY ADORE THEM! They are amazingly written, they hold a child's interest and have such a wonderful message. We read the books through twice, once with "Thumbuddy" as the main character and then once with "Payton" as the main character. She ATE IT UP! Since she's only three...I think that reading these books can really make an impression on the person she will become someday! It's nice to know that I can be giving her some reinforcement and encouragement in believing in herself and loving who she is as a person.
ThumbPeople offer several amazing and uplifting books for parents to interact and read with their children. Their business is one of encouragement and hope. Offering children the opportunity to realize that no matter what, they are special because they are SOMEBODY "fearfully and wonderfully made"!
I would really recommend you check out this company and I encourage you to purchase a few books for your children or grandchildren. It really might make a difference in how they see themselves, how they grow up feeling about who they are, etc. Self esteem and self image are important things to keep in check and to feel good about and I really believe this company understands that and that is why they created THUMBUDDY!
